Розробники української криптовалюти Карбованець додали в Play Store мобільний гаманець для Android власної розробки. Мобільних гаманців для CryptoNote монет (криптовалюти, які приділяють особливу увагу анонімності, такі як, наприклад, Monero) в світі існує всього два, але гаманець для Карбованця є першим з підтримкою NFC.
Перекази карбованців не фіксуються і не пов’язуються. Карбованець забезпечує анонімність та конфіденційність за допомогою криптографічної технології ring signature. Всі транзакції підписуються групою так, що неможливо достовірно визначити, хто з групи підписав транзакцію і, відповідно, не можна з упевненістю сказати, хто проводив транзакцію. Крім NFC, гаманець має інший функціонал, який можна назвати стандартним: підтримка QR кодів, а також відновлення доступу до гаманця за допомогою seed фрази. Мобільний гаманець Karbo працює в легкому режимі, тобто весь блокчейн не завантажується на телефон, тому він готовий до роботи відразу після встановлення. Гаманець, а особливо мобільний – це важливий етап в історії кожної криптовалюти, який наближає її до того, щоб стати справжнім платіжним засобом.
